2022-2025 BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting and Printmaking.Glasgow School of Art.
2021-2022 Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. Arts University Bournemouth.
My practice is a testament to my surroundings; entangled in curiosity and stitched together with care, it is rooted in the everyday. It has formed a patchwork quilt of my surroundings and a collage of my findings, documenting the simplicity, abundance and quiet beauty of it all. I use my practice to develop a sence of place and stay connected to the seasons around me as they shift. Drawn to the act of noticing and preserving, I like to extend the lives of what I see, viewing my paintings as postcards or mementos of fleeting moments.
There is a whimsy and magic in the in between and the overlooked. I want to encourage the viewer to notice more and immerse them in imagery, in a world that only I have viewed, my own.
